Over the last 60 years, the Bowen technique has seen a great surge in popularity. Bowen therapy is a hands on approach to healing, utilizing a few gentle movements of targeted areas of the body. Bowen therapy consists of movements over the skin or light clothing, rather like a massage, but with a very different purpose. There are Bowen therapy moves for many ailments, depending on what type of pain is suffered and where it is felt. It is said that Bowen therapy works by influencing the nervous system on a structural and energetic level. The moves allow the body to heal itself, instead of heavily relying on outside influence.

Most injuries or ailments only require a small number of sessions, and the Bowen technique will continue to guide healing for many days. Due to this hot baths or showers aren’t recommended for a few days. Depending on the injury or ailment, a greater number of sessions may be required. It is recommended that on the days of your treatments, you avoid a great deal of exertion or exercise, and allow the body time to heal. Additionally, you should avoid outside body treatments for several days before and following your Bowen therapy, so as not to distract or interrupt the healing.
Bowen technique considers the whole person, not just a specific injury or ailment. It uses the energy to facilitate healing and the guide energy through the nervous system to begin waste removal and healing of the body.

The Bowen technique is great for chronic pain, but can heal nearly any ailment, including carpel tunnel syndrome, sciatica, scoliosis, shin splints, Attention Deficit Disorder, Pre-Menstrual Syndrome, headaches, and more. Bowen therapy has worked for a huge variety of health problems.
Tom Bowen believed that he was given a gift to help people, and tried to help as many as he could before he died. Now, his method of Bowen therapy has helped thousands and thousands of patients live happier lives.

Weight loss… isnt it easier to gain something?
I had a conversation with a friend of mine who told me they wouldnt allow someone overweight to serve them in a clothing shop.
